The name of the Italian company "Chicco" is familiar to most parents. Their Moscow office approached us to design a new space for their team. We were immediately inspired by the task at hand. We were to design an adult office with a “childlike” face.
The company's colors served as the main impulse in choosing the project's palette. A gentle, sky blue color became the unifying element throughout the office - we took an open and pure shade of the sky, as direct as all children. The space is dominated by soft, playful forms, sometimes asymmetrical, striving to remind us that there is no place for strictness in childhood. Honeyed tones of wood with warm sandy hues added coziness to the bright office space.
The office was a rectangular room with desks arranged in a straight line. We had to visually “break up” the rhythm of the desks and add a relaxation zone for employees, who sometimes need a break from routine work. We separated the work area with a bookshelf, and used the image of children's blocks as a reference point, painting them in a bright blue color in the style of Yves Klein. The narrow column in the reception area that we inherited, we visually expanded with color and wooden panels. This helped to make the area proportionate to a human being.
The office turned out to be the perfect visual expression of the company's specifics and values, which was created to unite, warm, and be the main helper for all parents.
