This project is our contemporary interpretation of Mid-Century Modern. We focused on what made mid-century interiors timeless in the first place: clear proportions, honest materials, furniture that feels architectural, and spaces that are composed rather than decorated. In the context of Dubai, this approach becomes even more relevant — the interior needs a calm, structured framework to balance bright daylight, large volumes, and the fast pace of everyday life.

Instead of filling the space with many focal points, we focused on a few key elements that define the interior, with everything else supporting them. The palette is intentionally restrained: warm stone creates a calm, tactile background, while deep timber volumes add structure and rhythm, reading as part of the architecture rather than separate joinery.

The kitchen and lounge areas are intentionally divided by three solid column volumes that introduce a sense of gravity and clearly define the spatial function.

Materially, this is mid-century through a contemporary lens: the warmth of natural tones, the clarity of geometry, and the comfort of tactile finishes — combined with today’s expectations of integration and performance. Storage is fully absorbed into the architecture, visual noise is controlled, and the palette remains grounded in warm neutrals, with a single, disciplined accent adding depth without turning the space into a color statement.

The result is a refined, contemporary interior in Dubai that feels confident and lived-in — modern, warm, and precise — where mid-century principles are embedded in the structure rather than applied as a stylistic layer.
