Working with log houses always poses a challenge. Here we wanted to get rid of the vibe of a dacha, while at the same time keeping the comfort of a chalet.
Deep complex hues were chosen to give the house its unique personality, making it stand out from numerous other classic log houses. We opted for white wood, so it would be easy to make the interior bright, the way the owners saw it, and create color connections.
We decided to visually lower the high ceiling with the help of color so the space did not look narrow. Thanks to this optical illusion the living room looks airy, but also very proportional and non-threatening, which makes it very cozy.
